It has been a turbulent off season for the Australian team. With more and more focus on quality than quantity it seems that the all was lost for a moment.
After shedding some rather high flying players to the likes of Sprint4live yet receiving some equally undervalued players Team Pinarello sunk to the lowly 5 Division. Further removal of players of 'great experience' has resulted in a leaner meaner team that is now on the climb.
I race in Div 5 saw a move back to Div 4D and in the not too distant future the team is looking to enter the upper deck of the cycling community. Talent must be sort but the strength is there.
Team Pinarello is making season 19 one to remember. First with a commitment to develop Indian cycling and have the top racer in class, similar to what the team did for Iranian cycling (now racing in the top division) - proof that this manager is one that can get the most out of his riders.
